For our anniversary a couple of weeks ago, we got to spend a weekend in Santa Barbara, CA. Thanks to my parents for watching the little guy :)
We leisurely meandered around State St. (leisurely, what a treat!), got coffee, enjoyed the tiles and architecture, basked in the sun, smiled for the camera :)
We checked into the hotel, took a nap(!), and picked out a dinner place. Santa Barbara has some awesome restaurants. We even found a record store :)
We went wine tasting (so many wineries in SB!), walked along the ocean, ate some dinner, strolled some more. It was a perfect anniversary.
The next morning I got up and ran a couple miles along the coast - I wish I could run along the ocean every morning! It was an amazing and relaxing trip and made me so happy! It's nice to appreciate some time with my husband too :)

ReplyDeleteHow fun! Happy Anniversary! This weekend the kids and I did a lot of cleaning in the house while the husband spent most of his hours at the college doing homework and senior projects. Not so much fun. but had to be done.
