One of A's best friends moved away last week (and mine too!) ~ I already miss them...but instead of being too sad, we decided to throw a mini tea-party to say good-bye. We brought out the RoseArt Magic Fun Dough Kit and the kids had the best time!
… the age range fro the product is 3-7, so our tea party was on the young side. They couldn't quite get the image transfers themselves (and I failed the first time too!)...but eventually we figured it out. Not that different from putting a temporary tattoo on! Similar to a tattoo, these images are transferred easily onto the dough by peeling back the plastic film, placing the transfer face down on the dough, and rolling over the back of the transfer with the water pen. The images are great but when you no longer want them, you just squish the dough back together and the colors will absorb into the dough, returning it to its original color and texture. Fun!
I had fun watching the kids use their imagination and be creative. I do wish they'd included more than one knife - as the ended up squabbling a bit over who got to use it :) Also, don't sit on the dough - it sticks to your pants (oops!). I was impressed with the variety in the Magic Fun Dough Kits and can’t wait to play with the volcano kit with A!
If you’d like to have some creative fun with your kids, you can find RoseArt Magic Dough Kits {in six unique themes} in the craft and art aisles at Target, Walmart, and on Amazon. They’d make the perfect, affordable (under $20) preschool holiday gift for kids ages 3-7!
