So my brief analysis has led me to believe that is actually a much closer decision than I had thought. I was certain that Rio would come out way ahead, I mean, it's Rio! But Sochi is also a resort city on the beach (though it will be winter). If NHL players are there, well, Hockey is a bigger draw that golf (yep, first time golf will be in the olympics!)...and crazy enough, it looks like it's cheaper to go to Russia than Brazil?
