The weather being one of them.
I do not think I would be running if I still lived in DC. The humidity kills me. It has been hot here, some days getting over 90 degrees, but I can always wake up early and run in cool weather. Now that is will be cooler a little later, I'm even more excited!
I am excited to have 3 (maybe 4?) races planned for the fall.
October - Tooth Fairy 5k. I am really excited about this one! I've been loving my 5k runs and can't wait to see if my race time has improved!
November - SOAR 10k right in my home town. It goes through farm land and orange groves. I've only run one 10k before so I am excited to see how my second one goes
Thanksgiving - Turkey trot anyone? Still haven't decided if I can make a turkey dinner and run a 5k in one day :)
December - Santa to the Sea Half Marathon. I'm hoping anyway :) It's in Oxnard, near the ocean, mostly flat, what a way to end the year...right?
What races are you doing this fall? Trotting with turkeys?

I have 1 race next weekend (a 10ker) after that I have nothing plan.
ReplyDeleteI have a tough mudder in March and that's it. I will still be running, but with summer coming up it's going to get hot hot hot, and there are not a lot of runs in Australia in summer as it just gets too hot.
