Today, instead of napping, he sat in bed and read books. Lots and lots of books! Takes after me - I have piles and piles of books by my bed too :) This makes me so happy.
So I thought I'd share some of the books my guy is loving right now!
As a two year old, he is a big fan of books with animals, trains or trucks. He loves emotions, humor and sneezes :) The current favorite - the Elephant & Piggie books. His favorite book in Spanish - Lola. My current favorite book? Dog Loves Books, of course. Click on any of the books above and it'll take you to amazon (affiliate links)!

My son is now 18, and he still has a love for books. With sports and school reading time is limited but his relaxation always includes a book.
ReplyDeleteWonderful post. Wade's preschool just finished a week long study of Mo Willems. Both boys love his works, particularly the pigeon stories. My folks go to the UK often and bring books back. Check out the Gruffalo/Stick Man/Zog books if you haven't already. Gorgeous illustrations and great stories, especially Zog that has a feminist message. Also check out "Boy + Bot". A simple story with wonderful artwork. My boys are robot obsessed so they love it and love my vain attempt at a robot voice.
ReplyDeleteWe love books too! Some of our favorites our Pigs Can't Fly, The Bear books by Karma Wilson and Little Quack!
ReplyDeleteI love Lola. Excellent list.
ReplyDeleteHappy A through Z blogging!

Thanks for the book suggestions. When my daughter was around that age she loved anything with Sesame Street {especially Cookie Monster}, Barney and Rugrats. :)
