Hush Little Baby...

I LOVE this book. Love it. I always thought the song "Hush Little Baby" was a little odd. It is continually about buying your baby new things as things break. What kind of message is that?

This book is about discovering what's all around you - be it a sunset, a lightning bug or a well-loved quilt. Once the crickets stop singing and the sun sets, what else can we find wonder in? Why not mom playing a banjo? :) Not only a fun book, but also a great lesson!

I also love that I get to "sing" this book to A. I have to sing quickly though, because he loves turning pages quickly!

So lucky to have great hand-me-down books for A to enjoy!
