I don't know if you have had the chance to visit the Santa Monica pier - but if you haven't, you need to go! It's a cultural experience - totally weird, fun and strange :) There are rides, music, food, fishing..you name it...all on a pier in the Pacific Ocean! We've taken the little guy a couple of times in his life - and he's loved it!
