My Five Favorite Running Bloggers!

Since I started writing more about fitness - my workouts, runs, and eating better, I've also started exploring the great fitness blogs out there. I've decided that there are many, many great blogs and an amazing, friendly community of fitness bloggers and runners!

If you aren't familiar with them, here are some of my new favorites!

1. Fitness, Health and Happiness with Jill Conyers. Great Friday link-up! All about running, healthy living and plant-based diet!
2. Runs with Pugs - Love this blog! Mom of adorable son who started the Couch to 5 k program and kept on running. I'm inspired :)
3. Mommy Run Fast - Running coach, healthy diet and nutrition information! Very informative.
4. Miles and Blessings - Great running advice, doing it all as a busy mom - I'm very impressed!
5. Suncoast Blogger - Run, Play, Relax, Repeat. Running in Florida - must say I'm a little jealous...She also introduced me to Who I Run 4, and incredibly inspiring group that matches runners with kids who can't run!

These blogs make me smile - I hope you enjoy them too! Happy Running :)

In terms of my training? I finished week 1 or half marathon training on Sunday! I made it through all my runs (even a 5 miler!) and two of my strength work outs. I am feeling good and really enjoyed the interval run - though I desperately need an app to help time the intervals - any good suggestions? Please? I also used pandora's pop fitness station for some new music, since my running playlist doesn't extend past 35 minutes :)

This week?
Monday - Cardio & Walk
Tuesday - Interval Run (35 min.) and Strength
Wednesday - Cardio
Thursday - Race Simulation Run
Friday - Strength
Saturday - Rest
Sunday - 6 miles!

Do you have any favorite fitness blogs? Which ones should I check out next?

I hope I can hang in there, I know the first 2 weeks will be hard, but once I get my body used to it I know it will be easier. I don't follow any fitness blogs right now, but I will make sure to check out the list of blogs to stay inspired!
