I try to go when I can, as I want to meet other mommies. But often their meet-ups are during the week, when I work. So I end up going once a month or so. I try, I want to make friends here. However, I feel so awkward when I go. They see each other all the time, so have things to talk about. Their kids know each other, they pass around their babies.
I'm not sure if I want to keep going, I hate being socially awkward. But I do want to meet other people and it would be good to have kids for A to play with. I'm so torn...
